In Smithers, a small town in the heart of the Bulkley Valley, a middle aged woman sits at her sewing machine creating her newest treasure. While she works a little girl with bright green eyes watches her with intense curiosity. That woman was my maternal grandmother and the little girl was me. My love for sewing was sparked at an early age and was continually stoked throughout my life. I bought my first sewing machine when I was 18. It was a Brother for $100 at Walmart. I now have four machines, (Yes I said 4 sewing machines) I still exclusively use my original sewing machine.

If you answered yes to either of those questions this is the right blog for you. In my posts you'll get a unique and honest perspective on crafting projects. I've learned to be frugally creative and get most of my supplies for little to no money. |
